José D’Artagnan Júnior, recognized for roles on TV, died last Sunday, 02/24, in Rio de Janeiro, aged 58. The information was confirmed by actor and director Miguel Falabella. “Dear D’Artagnan, thank you for the laughs, for the good times we had together. Today, an era ends”, wrote the friend.

The actor had hepatitis C and suffered from pancreatitis, he was married to screenwriter and playwright Maria Carmem Barbosa, who worked as Falabella’s co-author in soap operas such as Salsa e Merengue and A Lua Me Disse. At the age of 71, the playwright suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, a progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions.

D’Artagnan Junior had been hospitalized a few times for problems with his pancreas, according to a Wagner. Since last weekend, he was at Hospital São Luiz. She had a thrombosis and couldn’t resist.
